Convict Coffee Company is the kind of spot you start recommending to everyone after your first visit. Tucked into a small strip near DU, it's got that rare combo of genuinely great coffee and a crew behind the counter who actually remember your order. The name comes from a real second-chance hiring mission, and you can feel that purpose in how the place runs. It's not trying to be a scene. It's just solid espresso, a clean simple space, and people who care about the craft. Perfect for a solo work session with headphones in, a slow catch-up with a friend, or a quick stop before class or a workout. Students, neighborhood regulars, and anyone who wants their 5 star rating to actually mean something will get why this place has a cult following.
