5 Green Boxes is the kind of shop where you go in for a birthday card and come out with a candle, a weird little ceramic dish, and a new throw pillow you didn't know you needed. Tucked into the South Pearl Street strip (not calling it that, just saying where it sits), this place is packed floor to ceiling with gifts, home decor, jewelry, and stationery that actually feels thoughtfully picked, not mass produced. It's a great stop before brunch at the farmers market or when you need a last minute gift that doesn't scream last minute. Locals love it for birthdays, hostess gifts, and just browsing on a lazy Saturday. If you like small shops with a lot of personality packed into a small footprint, this is your spot.
