Denver Arts Festival is that weekend where Central Park (the neighborhood, not the NYC one) fills up with tents, live music, and way more talent than you expect from a local fair. Artists come in from all over to show paintings, ceramics, jewelry, photography, the works. It's got that easy Saturday energy, stroll around with a coffee, actually stop and talk to the people who made the stuff you're looking at. Not some mass-produced craft fair situation. There's usually a food truck lineup and a stage with music going, so it turns into a half day thing without you planning on it. Good for a slow date, good for bringing your parents when they visit, good if you want original art without gallery prices. Bring cash, some vendors prefer it.
