Mystic Escape Room sits on a quiet stretch of 9th Ave, but don't let the low key exterior fool you. This place has a perfect 5 star rating from almost 250 people for a reason. The puzzles are sharp, the sets are detailed, and the game masters actually want you to win (with just enough struggle to make it satisfying). Go with your work team for a different kind of happy hour. Go with your partner for a date that's not another dinner reservation. Go with your rowdiest friend group and let someone take charge of the clues while everyone else panics over a locked drawer. Rooms run on the harder side, so bring your most detail obsessed friend. This is a great reset from the usual bar night, and a solid way to bond with people without a single drink involved.
