One of the country's largest Juneteenth celebrations brings 20,000-plus people to the historic heart of Black Denver for a morning parade, all-day live performances, 100-plus vendors, and food and art lining the Welton Street corridor. Now in its 15th year.
SiR headlines the main stage. The parade stages at Manual High School at 8 am and steps off at 11 am, running Williams to Welton. The street festival runs noon to 8 pm, and a Juneteenth Hop continues Sunday from 2 pm to midnight across Welton bars and breweries.
Saturday parade at 11 am from 26th and Williams to 26th and Welton. Festival 12 to 8 pm centered at 2700 Welton Street. Multiple stages of live music, 100-plus food and art vendors, a youth zone, and a family-friendly program. Free to attend. RSVP and VIP options available.
Light rail to 27th and Welton drops you right in the festival. Side streets fill fast, leave the car at home. Cash speeds the vendor lines. Stay through sunset for the closing acts, then walk Welton for the Sunday Hop preview spots.
