New in Denver This Week (October 5)

The spots that just opened their doors to our directory and the events that just hit the calendar: your Monday briefing on what's new in Denver.

Quiet week on the new business front, but your calendar is about to get very full. Red Rocks keeps adding big names, Ball Arena just dropped like 15 shows at once, and Mission Ballroom has a couple of nights that'll ruin your Monday if you don't nap first.

Grab a coffee and scroll through, because presales move fast and we'd rather you not be that person refreshing Ticketmaster at 11:59pm.

The New Spots

Nothing new landed in the directory this week. We've got a deep bench of spots already loaded over at /directory, so go dig through those while we wait on the next batch. Check back next Monday, this town doesn't stay quiet for long.

Just Announced

Ella Langley at Red Rocks, October 7, 7pm at Red Rocks Park And Amphitheatre. She's one of country's hottest names right now and catching her at Red Rocks is the kind of night you'll talk about for years.

Rise Against: Ricochet 2026, October 12, 7pm at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Punk rock at Red Rocks hits different, bring the jacket because that venue gets cold fast once the sun drops.

Highly Suspect & Yelawolf, October 13, 6:30pm at Mission Ballroom. A rock and hip-hop pairing that shouldn't work on paper but absolutely will live.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Dallas Stars, October 14, 7:30pm at Ball Arena. Early season hockey with real playoff implications down the road, good excuse to break out the jersey.

BEAT: Belew/Vai/Levin/Bozzio Performing the Music of King Crimson, October 16, 8pm at Bellco Theatre. Four prog rock legends playing King Crimson's catalog after 100-plus shows worldwide, this is a bucket list night for anyone who grew up on that stuff.

MIDSOMMAR at The Junkyard, October 17, 5pm at JUNKYARD. Tiered GA pricing means you pick your level of chaos, perfect timing with Halloween season ramping up.

Kettama Loods, October 24, 8pm at Mission Ballroom. House, techno, hard groove, and UK garage all in one set, this is the dance floor night you've been waiting for.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra: The Ghosts Of Christmas Eve, November 21, 3pm and 7:30pm at Ball Arena. Yes it's early for holiday stuff, but TSO sells out fast and this is genuinely a wild light-and-sound show.

JOURNEY: Final Frontier Tour, November 22, 7:30pm at Ball Arena. An entire evening of Journey, no opener, just hit after hit for the people who still know every word to "Don't Stop Believin'."

Gracie Abrams: The Look at My Life Tour, December 2, 8pm at Ball Arena. She's having a moment and this tour is already generating real buzz, grab tickets before it sells out.

Jonas Brothers: The Burning Up Tour All Over Again, December 9, 7:30pm at Ball Arena. Your middle school playlist is about to become your Christmas party plans, no shame in it.

Full directory lives at /directory and the complete calendar is at /events.
