New in Denver This Week (October 19)

The spots that just opened their doors to our directory and the events that just hit the calendar: your Monday briefing on what's new in Denver.

Monday check in: nothing new dropped into the directory this week, so no fresh bars or restaurants to gossip about. But the events calendar got absolutely loaded, and a bunch of big ones just went on sale.

Skip straight to tickets below because some of these are going to move fast, especially the Halloween weekend stuff.

The New Spots

No new businesses landed in the directory this week. We'll be back next Monday with fresh spots worth your time.

Just Announced

In This Moment, Hollywood Undead, I See Stars, Vana: October 19 at Fillmore Auditorium. Heavy, loud, and happening tonight if you're reading this early. Ages 16+ only, so leave the little cousin at home.

Palace: October 20 at Mission Ballroom. They've been quietly making records together for over a decade and this new tour is their biggest swing yet.

Muna: October 21 at Red Rocks. Late October Red Rocks shows hit different, bring a real jacket.

Geese: October 28 at Mission Ballroom. The Brooklyn band is touring behind "Getting Killed," their third record, and the buzz around it is loud enough that this one won't stay cheap.

Haunted Mansion feat. Loud Luxury, Bryce Alakai, MC4d: October 30 at Fillmore Auditorium. Your Halloween weekend dance party option, tropical house and synthpop all night before the actual holiday.

Whethan: WAREHOUSE.WAVS Tour (360 Show): October 31 at Mission Ballroom. A literal Halloween night rave with a full 360 stage setup, good call if you want to dance instead of trick or treat.

Orville Peck w/ Abbie Callahan: November 1 at Mission Ballroom. His fourth album features Emmylou Harris, Noah Cyrus, and Allison Russell, so expect the setlist to go deep.

Don Omar: The Last King World Tour: February 3 at Ball Arena. Reggaeton royalty, and these tours don't swing through Denver often.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Edmonton Oilers: January 26 at Ball Arena. One of the better matchups on the new home slate, worth grabbing seats early.

Monster Jam Freestyle Mania: February 12-13 at Ball Arena, with three separate shows across the weekend. Good one if you've got a kid obsessed with trucks or just want to see cars get destroyed for fun.
