The Sweat Report: Denver Fitness This Week (July 6)

Run clubs, classes, and the active plans worth showing up for this week in Denver — plus where to recover after.

Denver's run club scene isn't a phase — it's basically the singles bar and support group rolled into one, minus the small talk about horoscopes. This week's lineup covers every night you don't want to sit on your couch, plus the recovery stops that make the whole thing sustainable instead of a one-time flex.

Two real one-offs worth rearranging your week for, and three recovery spots that actually deserve the word "recovery." Here's the rundown.

The Standing Plans

Cooldown Running Denver – Tuesday Run — Tuesdays 6:30pm, location dropped weekly on their Instagram. Low-key, no-pressure 1–5 miles, and the mystery-location thing keeps it from feeling like a routine you're bored of.

Denver Run Club – Tuesday Social Run — Tuesdays 6pm at Ratio Beerworks. A 5K with drinks waiting at the finish line; this is the one your friend who "doesn't really run" actually shows up to.

Denver Trail Runners – Tuesday Mellow Run — Tuesdays 5:30pm at Deer Creek Canyon Park. Built for newer trail runners, so nobody's gasping to keep up.

Runners Roost Denver – Wednesday Run Club — Wednesdays 6pm, straight from the store on Colorado Blvd. Old-school shop run energy, easy to fall into conversation with strangers mid-stride.

November Project Denver – Wednesday Workout — Wednesdays 6:15am, alternating Civic Center Park and the Capitol steps. Free, year-round, and the closest thing Denver has to a fitness cult in the best way — you'll know people's names by week three.

HTB Run Club — Wednesdays 6:30pm at Highland Tap & Burger. Dinner and drink specials after, which tells you exactly who this crowd is.

Denver Trail Runners – Thursday Evening Run — Thursdays 6:15pm, foothills location announced weekly, dinner after. Longer runs, longer conversations.

Colorado Harriers – Tempo Thursday — Thursdays 6:30pm at Denver Beer Company. BOGO beers after a tempo run is the kind of math that makes people consistent.

Citius RC – Friday Breakfast Club Social Run — Fridays 6am, rotating coffee shops. Easy pace, actual conversation, coffee as the reward instead of the excuse.

November Project Denver – Friday Workout — Fridays 6:15am, rotating parks, announced Thursdays. Same crew as Wednesday, different park, same energy.

Citius RC – Saturday Long Run — Saturdays 7am summer hours, rotating coffee shops and stores. About 8 miles with pace groups, so nobody's stuck running alone or getting dropped.

Denver Trail Runners – Sunday Long Run — Sundays 7–8am, mountain trails announced weekly, 1.5–2 hours. The one that actually earns you the rest of your Sunday.

Cerebral Brewing Run Club – Monday Run — Mondays 6pm from the brewery. A solid way to make Monday feel less like Monday.

Odell Brewing Run Club – Monday Run — Mondays 6:30pm from the RiNo taproom. Same idea, different beer, same reason to show up.

Runners Roost Central Park – Monday Run Club — Mondays 5:45pm out of the Stapleton store. The Central Park version of the Wednesday crowd — regulars who've turned it into their real Monday plans.

This Week Only

Yoga on the Rocks — Saturday, July 11, 7am at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Doing sun salutations on that stage is worth the early alarm on its own.

Diplo's Run Club – Denver — Sunday, July 12, 9am at Cheesman Park. Yes, that Diplo. Show up for the novelty, stay because it's still just a good group run.

Recover Right

Denver South Chiropractic & Rehab — Denver. Skips the band-aid stuff and actually treats what's causing the problem.

Silver Palm — Littleton. Salon, spa, and medspa in one spot, and it delivers on all three instead of half-assing the wellness part.

Oakwell Beer Spa Denver — Denver. An actual beer soak — the most Denver way possible to reward a hard week of training.
