Things to Do in Denver This Weekend (August 7–9)

Denver's stacked this weekend, and honestly the hardest part is picking where to be. You've got Red Rocks going off three nights straight, Coors Field turning into a Noah Kahan singalong, and enough brewery patios and taco nights to fill every gap in between. Grab your friends, wear sunscreen during the day and something you don't mind sweating through at night, and let's get into it.

Friday

beabadoobee at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, 7:30 PM. She's basically the soundtrack to every good summer road trip you've had in the last two years, and with Wisp and Been Stellar opening, this is a full night out. This one will sell out.

Yeat: The LOVE/LYFE Tour at JUNKYARD, 6:00 PM. If you want a loud, sweaty, bass-heavy start to your weekend, this is it.

Tomahawk w/ The Melvins at Ogden Theatre, 8:00 PM. Mike Patton and the Melvins on the same bill is a weird, heavy, genuinely great pairing you don't get to see often.

Rotating Tap Comedy at River North Brewery (Blake St. Taproom), 8:00 PM. Stand-up you've probably seen on TV, plus RiNo's beer list, in one room. Easy Friday plan.

Nightstalgia: The Cure, The Smiths & Siouxsie and the Banshees Tributes at The Oriental Theater, 7:00 PM. Dust off the black clothes and go dance to post-punk covers all night.

The Cybertronic Spree w/ Spaceman Bob at Cervantes Other Side, 8:00 PM. Transformers cosplay rock opera. You either already know you're going or you should be intrigued enough to find out.

Saturday

Noah Kahan: The Great Divide Tour at Coors Field, 6:30 PM. A stadium show at a baseball park, singing "Stick Season" with 40,000 other people. This one will sell out if it hasn't already.

Slightly Stoopid at Red Rocks, 6:30 PM. The Movement and Pepper are opening too, so this is basically a full reggae-rock festival on a Saturday night. Expect a sellout.

Rick Ross Presents Port of Miami 20 ft. The Renaissance Orchestra at Paramount Theatre, 8:00 PM. A full orchestra behind Rozay for the 20th anniversary of Port of Miami. Not a typical rap show, worth the ticket price alone.

Olde Town Whiskey Fest 2026 at Olde Town Arvada, 5:00 PM. Dozens of Colorado and national whiskeys, plus the whole Second Saturday street festival going on around it. Bring cash and a designated Uber budget.

The Fixx (16 and Over) at Ogden Theatre, 8:00 PM. "One Thing Leads to Another" live, for anyone who wants a Saturday that feels like an 80s movie.

Dash Berlin at The Church Nightclub, 10:00 PM. Trance in an actual converted church. Go late, stay later.

The Marvelous Miss Gender starring BOSCO at Fillmore Auditorium, 7:00 PM. A big, glittery, high-energy night if you want something different from the usual rock and rap options.

Sunday

Motionless In White at Red Rocks, 6:30 PM. Lorna Shore and Fit for a King on the bill too, so this is a heavy, all-out closer to the weekend. This one will sell out.

Passion Pit (16 and Over) at Ogden Theatre, 8:00 PM. "Sleepyhead" and "Take a Walk" live is exactly the kind of nostalgic dance-cry Sunday you didn't know you needed.

Calle 24: Eterno Tour at Fillmore Auditorium, 7:00 PM. Latin trap and reggaeton to keep the weekend energy going into the last night.

Willow Avalon at Bluebird Theatre, 7:00 PM. Country-leaning with real songwriting chops, in a room small enough that it feels like a secret even though it's not.

Salsa & Bachata Sundays at La Rumba, 7:00 PM. If you can dance even a little, this is the most fun way to end your weekend without feeling like you're still "going out."

Free This Weekend

Old School Cool Vintage Markets at RiNo Art District, Friday. First Friday vintage market with racks worth actually digging through.

First Friday Art Walk: Special Street Closure Edition on Santa Fe Drive (6th to 11th Ave), Friday from 5:30 PM. Santa Fe closes to cars for the district's biggest First Friday of the year, so bring a drink and wander.

Fiesta CO with Mariachi Sol de mi Tierra at Levitt Pavilion, Ruby Hill Park, Friday 7:00 PM. Free mariachi and folklórico dancing outdoors, bring a blanket and something to drink.

Union Station Farmers Market at Denver Union Station Plaza, Saturday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Coffee, produce, and people-watching before your Saturday night plans kick in.

AMRC ft. Snotty Nose Rez Kids at Levitt Pavilion, Ruby Hill Park, Sunday 5:00 PM. Free hip-hop and Indigenous performances to close the weekend out right.

South Pearl Street Farmers Market on S. Pearl St. between Iowa and Arkansas, Sunday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Good spot for a slow Sunday morning walk and a coffee before you commit to doing anything else.
