Things to Do in Denver This Weekend (October 2–4)

Your weekend, sorted: the shows, parties, markets, and patios worth leaving the house for, October 2–4.

Art RiNo kicks off this weekend, so RiNo is basically the center of the universe for three days straight. Pair that with a stacked Red Rocks lineup, a few big comedy and concert nights, and a free dachshund festival at Union Station, and you've got zero excuse to sit home.

Patios are still working with it being October, so get out there before it's 40 degrees and everyone's hiding inside with a space heater.

Friday

RiNo Eats at Truss House, 3400 Arkins Ct, 6pm. This 21+ tasting kicks off Art RiNo weekend with ten neighborhood restaurants, live music, and an aerial performance, so basically dinner and a show for one ticket.

Claptone at The Church Nightclub, 10pm. Masked house DJ in a literal former church, this is the kind of night where you lose track of time on purpose.

Holy Priest at JUNKYARD, 5pm. Early start means you can hit this and still make it to a second spot before midnight.

Bolo at Levitt Pavilion, 5:30pm. Tech house and deep house under the lawn lights, good warmup for a longer night out.

Levity at Red Rocks, 6pm. Dubstep at the Rocks always draws a crowd, this one will sell out.

El Chou de Chuy Lizarraga at Bellco Theatre, 8pm. Big regional Mexican show with a built-in fanbase, grab tickets now because this one will sell out.

Hunter Hayes: The Evergreen Tour at Summit Music Hall, 7pm. Solid pick if you want an actual seat at a concert for once.

Saturday

Denver PorchFest in the Baker neighborhood (hub at Dailey Park), starting at noon. Nearly 200 bands play on about 85 porches and yards across the neighborhood, it's free, and it's honestly the most fun way to day drink and bar hop without ever leaving a sidewalk.

Deorro at Red Rocks, 7:30pm. Big room EDM at the best venue in the country, this one will sell out.

Tinlicker North America 2026 at Fillmore Auditorium, 7pm. Melodic techno in a room with great sound, go if you want to actually dance instead of just stand around.

Leslie Jones: I'm Hot Tour at Paramount Theatre, 7:30pm. She's loud, she's unfiltered, and this is a guaranteed good time with your funniest friend group.

ADÉLA: The Red Bottoms Tour at Summit Music Hall, 7pm. Pop show for the people who still know all the words to everything on TikTok.

Oddities & Curiosities Expo at Colorado Convention Center, 10am (also runs Sunday). Taxidermy, weird art, and vendors selling stuff you didn't know you needed, good daytime hang before a night out.

Sunday

for KING + COUNTRY at Red Rocks, 7pm. Big production, big crowd, this one will sell out so don't sleep on it if you want to go.

Beers Made By Walking in RiNo (location TBA), all day. A tasting of place-based beers brewed with ingredients foraged around the neighborhood, a weird and genuinely cool way to close out Art RiNo weekend with a beer in hand.

Free This Weekend

Mural Jam with tukeone & Collaborators, Denver Central Market/Graffiti Gardens Alley, 2669 Larimer St, Friday through Sunday. Six muralists painting a collaborative piece live, swing by any day of the weekend to watch it take shape.

Old School Cool Vintage Markets, RiNo Art District, Friday. First Friday vintage market, good excuse to wander RiNo before your dinner reservation.

Denver Bake Fest at Rebel Bread, 675 S Broadway, Saturday starting 9am. Over 80 bakers, a county fair energy, and you get to eat the evidence.

Wieners on Wynkoop at Denver Union Station, Terminal Bar Patio, Saturday starting noon. Dachshund races, a costume contest, German food and a polka band, this is objectively the most delightful chaos you'll see all week.

Vintage and Vinyl Expo at McGregor Square, Saturday starting 11am. Vinyl, vintage streetwear, and antiques right by Coors Field.

Colorado Free Jam ft. Grahame Lesh & Friends at Levitt Pavilion, Saturday 7pm. Free live music on a lawn, bring a blanket and a flask you probably shouldn't have snuck in.

Way more going on than we could fit here, full rundown at /events.
