Game Day: Nuggets vs. Raptors at Ball Arena, Wednesday at 7pm

The Nuggets host Toronto at Ball Arena tonight at 7pm, plus where to watch, where to pregame and how to get there on RTD.

The Nuggets play Toronto tonight, Wednesday, November 4, with tip-off at 7pm MT at Ball Arena. If you're downtown after work, this is the easy one to catch.

Per the Nuggets' game notes dated 11/4/26, it's Denver's 7th regular-season game and only its 4th at home. Details are on our event page.

The matchup

It's early, and the standings aren't kind yet. The Nuggets sit 10th in the West and 4th in the Northwest Division, per NBA.com (page dated 2 days ago) and ESPN (page dated 4 days ago).

That's not where this team usually lives, so a home win against an East opponent would help. A home game in early November is also a decent excuse to leave the office on time.

Watching from a bar

Run For The Roses at 1801 Blake St #10 in LoDo is the closest, 0.64 miles from the arena in a straight line. It's tagged as a sports bar with cocktails and bourbon, and it has 4.4 stars on Google from 330 reviews (as of 2026-05-02).

Bar 404 at 404 North Broadway calls itself both a local sports bar and an independent music venue. It's a $ spot with 4.5 stars from 287 reviews (as of 2026-05-02), 2.1 miles out.

Players Pub at 8 S Broadway in Baker is also tagged as a sports bar, with local beer and a $$ price level. It's 4.5 stars from 249 reviews (as of 2026-05-02), 2.49 miles away. Good pick if you live south and don't want to deal with downtown.

Pregame near the venue

My Brother's Bar at 2376 15th St is 0.53 miles from the arena. Dive bar, burgers, cheap drinks, and it's cash only, so hit an ATM first. It has 4.5 stars from 2,965 reviews (as of 2026-05-02).

If you want an actual sit-down dinner, Tavernetta at 1889 16th St Mall is 0.43 miles away. Italian, pasta, wine bar, $$$. It's at 4.6 stars from 2,511 reviews (as of 2026-05-02). Book ahead and give yourself time before 7.

Getting there and home

The light rail stop is Ball Arena•Elitch Gardens Station at 1700 9th Street. It has no RTD parking but does have bike racks, per RTD's facilities page (checked 2026-11-04).

Buses 1, 15L and 20 stop at Auraria Parkway and 7th/9th Street, per RTD. That same page notes Downtown Rail Reconstruction is ongoing, so plug your route into RTD's trip planner before you leave and again before you head home.
