Midweek in Denver: Tonight & Tomorrow (November 4)

The best of Wednesday and Thursday in Denver: shows, socials, and reasons the weekend can wait.

The weekend is a social construct invented by people who peaked in high school and need two days to recover from brunch. Tonight and tomorrow are both loaded, so there's no excuse to sit on your couch just because it's hump day. Here's what's actually worth putting pants on for.

Tonight

Joshua Slone, 7:30pm at Red Rocks with Jake Minch. A Wednesday night show at Red Rocks is still a Red Rocks show. Bring a layer, it's November.

Nuggets vs. Raptors, 7pm at Ball Arena. Mid-week home game, easier parking, normal beer lines. Go watch Jokic do Jokic things.

Roz, 7:30pm at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom. House set at one of Denver's best rooms for it. Good excuse to actually dance on a weeknight instead of just thinking about it.

Grizzly Rose Line Dancing Night, 6:30pm at 5450 N Valley Highway. Free lesson, no cliques, boots optional. Stick around after for board games if the two-step doesn't stick.

Mid-Week Pickleball Social, 5pm at Southpark Pickleball Complex in Highlands Ranch. All skill levels, nearly 12,000 members, a 4.7-star rating. Cheaper than therapy and you get a workout in.

Stacey Abrams: Evening Two, 7:30pm at Bellco Theatre. Part of the Colorado Speaker Series season announcement. A good one if you want your Wednesday to feel a little smarter than usual.

Tomorrow

Alyssa Grace, 8pm at The Bluebird Theater. All ages, intimate room, the kind of show where you'll actually hear the vocals.

Avalanche vs. Predators, 7:30pm at Ball Arena. Back-to-back nights of pro sports at Ball Arena this week. Treat yourself.

Parra For Cuva w/ Special Guests, 7pm at Cervantes' Masterpiece Ballroom. Downtempo and tech house for people who want their Thursday night to feel like a reset, not a rager.

Geeks Who Drink Trivia, 7pm at Denver Milk Market. $10 pizzas, $10 drinks, trivia hosts who will absolutely clown your team name. Downtown's standing Thursday plan for a reason.

L'Apero de Denver French Happy Hour, 7pm, rotating spots like Forest Room 5 and Barcelona Wine Bar. Email in, get added to the WhatsApp, show up to wine and good patios. Low effort, high payoff.

Kieran Macri Band w/ Ellis Lugar + Billy Spaur, 8pm at Globe Hall. Solid local lineup in a room that still feels like a secret even though it isn't.

Way more going on than we could fit here: full list at /events.
