Midweek in Denver: Tonight & Tomorrow (September 9)

Real talk: the weekend is a made-up concept your calendar invented to make you feel bad about Tuesdays. Tonight and tomorrow are stacked enough that "I'll just stay in" isn't holding up. Here's what's actually worth putting pants on for.

Tonight

Cole Swindell, 6:30pm at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. BlackHawk and Zach John King open, and it's a Wednesday at Red Rocks, which already beats whatever your couch has planned.

Godsmack: The Rise of Rock World Tour, 6pm at JUNKYARD. If you need something loud and heavy tonight instead of scrolling your phone, this is it.

LP: All Is Not Lost Tour, 8pm at Paramount Theatre. That voice belting "Lost on You" in a room this good is worth the school-night trade-off.

Joshua Ray Walker, 8pm at Bluebird Theatre. Smaller room, real songwriting, the kind of show you namedrop later.

Grizzly Rose Line Dancing Night, 6:30pm at Grizzly Rose. Free lesson, no cliques, boots optional. Board games after if you want to keep the night going without spending more money.

HTB Run Club, 6:30pm at Highland Tap & Burger. Free run, dinner and drink specials waiting on the other side. Earn your burger first.

Tomorrow

SOFI TUKKER, 7pm at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This is the one to move your Friday plans around for. Pop EDM, huge crowd energy, Red Rocks on a Thursday hits different.

Geeks Who Drink Trivia, 7pm at Denver Milk Market. $10 pizzas, $10 drinks, and trivia that's genuinely hard enough to be fun. Bring a team, lose with dignity.

L'Apero de Denver French Happy Hour, 7pm, rotating patios and wine bars around the city. Low-key, good wine, easy way to meet people without trying too hard on a Thursday.

Loe Shimmy, 8pm at Summit Music Hall. If you want a hip-hop show that isn't a stadium tour, this is your move.

Tempo Thursday, 6:30pm at Denver Beer Company. Free run, BOGO beers right after. This is the easiest yes on the whole list.
