New in Denver This Week (October 26)
The spots that just opened their doors to our directory and the events that just hit the calendar: your Monday briefing on what's new in Denver.
Monday means it's time to see what landed in the directory and what's worth locking down tickets for before it's too late. This week Denver got a serious wellness and fitness overload (we're talking reformer pilates, jiu jitsu, head spas, the works) plus a stacked next few weeks of shows at the Fillmore and Mission Ballroom.
Remember, "new" here means new to our directory, not necessarily a new business. Some of these spots have been around for years and just finally made it onto our radar.
The New Spots

Just Announced
Young Nudy, Fredo Bang, Oct 31 at 8pm, Fillmore Auditorium. A Halloween night show that's going to get loud. 16+ with valid ID, no exceptions.
Día de Muertos Festival, Nov 1 at 11am, Denver Coliseum. Free for 18 and under, so bring the whole crew.
Yandel: Sinfonico, Nov 1 at 8pm, Red Rocks. A full symphony backing one of reggaeton's biggest voices at the best venue in the state.
Periphery, Ne Obliviscaris, Greyhaven, Ando San, Nov 2 at 5pm, Fillmore Auditorium. All ages, heavy as it gets.
Knocked Loose, Denzel Curry, Superheaven, Boundaries, Nov 3 at 5:30pm, Fillmore Auditorium. Hardcore and hip hop sharing a bill, which should be chaos in the best way.
Stacey Abrams: Evening Two, Nov 4 at 7:30pm, Bellco Theatre. Part of the Colorado Speaker Series if you want something a little more substantive than a concert.
Houndmouth, Nov 6 at 8pm, Mission Ballroom. Solid indie rock from a band that took their time getting the new record right.
6LACK, Eem Triplin, Nov 7 at 7pm, Fillmore Auditorium. All ages R&B that'll have the whole room singing along.
Ali Wong Live, Nov 7 at 8pm, Bellco Theatre. The "Baby Cobra" comedian live, which is reason enough.
311, Nov 8 at 8pm, Mission Ballroom. The Omaha band is still touring, still playing the hits, still got it.
Monster Jam Freestyle Mania, Feb 14 at noon, Ball Arena. Loud trucks, big jumps, a decent Valentine's Day alternative if your date is into that sort of thing.
