The Sweat Report: Denver Fitness This Week (November 3)
Run clubs, classes, and the active plans worth showing up for this week in Denver: plus where to recover after.
November kicked off and the sun's calling it quits before 6pm, which means the only way to see humans after work is to go sweat near them first. Denver's run clubs and free workouts don't care about the cold, so neither should you. Here's where to log miles, make friends, and then go lie down somewhere nice afterward.
The Standing Plans
Denver Run Club - Tuesday Social Run. Tuesdays at 6pm, Ratio Beerworks (2920 Larimer St). Free 5K followed by beers, and the after part is honestly the whole draw.
Cooldown Running Denver - Tuesday Run. Tuesdays at 6:30pm, location drops weekly on @cooldownrunning's Instagram. A 1 to 5 mile run or walk, so nobody's getting dropped.
November Project Denver - Wednesday Workout. Wednesdays at 6:15am, Civic Center Park or the Capitol steps depending on the week. Free, year round, and the regulars keep showing up because suffering at sunrise bonds people fast.
Denver Run Club - Friday Track Workout. Fridays around 6:30am at North High School track. Free, structured, a solid way to start a Friday you'll actually remember by noon.
November Project Denver - Friday Workout. Fridays at 6:15am, a different Denver park each week, announced Thursdays on their social. Same crew as Wednesday, new scenery.
Union Station Farmers Market. Saturdays 8am to 1pm at Denver Union Station Plaza. Not a workout, but it's where half the run club ends up anyway with coffee in hand.
This Week Only
Mile High Young Professionals Monthly Social. Tuesday, Nov 10, 6pm at The University Club (1673 Sherman St). Not sweaty, but it's the networking mixer that's run like clockwork for years. Get there at 5:45 for orientation if you're new.
Recover Right
Posture Power Wellness. Cheesman Park. 5 stars for undoing what your desk job and your long run did to your spine.
Pivot Barre Studio. Baker. A 5-star barre studio where the burn is real and the regulars start to feel like your workout crew.
Luxe Mobile IV - Denver. LoHi. A licensed nurse brings the IV drip straight to your door, wherever Denver life left you needing it.
Full calendar, every class and run, lives at /events.
