Things to Do in Denver This Weekend (September 11–13)

This weekend is stacked. Brandi Carlile is doing three nights at Red Rocks, Tame Impala is turning Ball Arena into a fog machine, and there's a wine walk at Dairy Block that basically doubles as a Saturday pregame. Grab friends, wear layers because Denver weather is doing whatever it wants, and don't sleep on the comedy shows either.

Friday

Tame Impala: The Deadbeat Tour, Ball Arena, 7pm. Kevin Parker's psych-pop machine live is one of those shows you tell people about for years, and this one will sell out if it hasn't already.

Brandi Carlile, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, 7:30pm. First of three nights at the best venue in the country, with Stephen Wilson Jr. opening. This one will sell out, so don't wait around.

Jack Harlow: Monica Tour, Fillmore Auditorium, 6:30pm. Big name in a mid-size room, which means it'll be packed and loud in the best way.

Kamelot: Dark Asylum World Tour, Summit Music Hall, 6pm. If you're into symphonic metal or just want a night of theatrical riffs, this delivers.

Waylon Wyatt, Ogden Theatre, 9pm. Rising country/rock voice in a venue with a real dance floor, good pick if you want something less arena-sized.

Marlon Wayans, Denver Improv, 7:30pm (also a late show at 9:45pm). Big-name comedy in a small room means you're close enough to catch every bit.

Venjent, Club Vinyl, 10pm. Late-night dance set for the crowd that's still going after dinner and drinks downtown.

5AM w/ Tygris, Muzik, The Black Box, 9pm. Underground bass show at Denver's DIY electronic spot, good option if you want something less polished and more sweaty.

Saturday

Colorado Wine Walk, Dairy Block, 6pm. Unlimited pours from Colorado wineries up and down the Dairy Block alley, plus live music and food. Basically the easiest way to day-drink into evening with a group.

Insane Clown Posse (16+), Mission Ballroom, 8pm. Whatever your take on ICP, a Mission Ballroom show is always an experience and this crowd will be a whole vibe on its own.

Dax: The Anger Management Tour, Fillmore Auditorium, 7pm. High-energy hip-hop show, get there early if you want to be up front.

Meltt (16+), Bluebird Theatre, 8pm. Intimate room, good sound, solid Saturday night option if the bigger shows aren't your speed.

Neon The Bishop, Meow Wolf Denver, 7pm. Live music inside one of the weirdest, coolest spaces in the city. Show up a little early and wander the exhibits first.

Josh Thomas: Jiggle, Jiggle, Summit Music Hall, 6pm. Sharp, weird stand-up if you want laughs before you go find a late show.

Canaan Cox: We Out Here Tour, Marquis, 7pm. Country show in a smaller room, good for two-stepping without the arena crowd.

Sunday

Violent Femmes (16+), Mission Ballroom, 8pm. "Blister in the Sun" hits different live, and this one will sell out given how many people quietly love this band more than they admit.

Brandi Carlile, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, 6:30pm. Third and final night of the run, so it's your last shot if you missed Friday or Saturday.

Winston Hodges, Comedy Works Downtown, 7pm. Kevin Hart "Funny AF" finalist doing an edgy, southern-charm set in that classic basement room at Larimer Square. Good way to close out the weekend with drinks and laughs.

Free This Weekend

Union Station Farmers Market, Denver Union Station Plaza, Saturday 8am-1pm. Coffee, breakfast burritos, and people-watching in one of the prettiest spots downtown.

Cherry Creek Fresh Market, Cherry Creek Shopping Center (east side near Macy's), Saturday 9am-2pm. Solid produce and prepared food stalls if you want to make a real grocery run out of it.

South Pearl Street Farmers Market, 1400-1500 blocks of S. Pearl St., Sunday 9am-1pm. One of the more walkable markets in the city, good for a slow Sunday morning with coffee in hand.

2026 Denver Zine Fest, Denver Central Library, Sunday 11am. Indie zine-makers and comic artists tabling their work, plus a zine-making station if you want to get weird and make your own.

Highlands Farmers Market, Highlands Square, Sunday 9am-1pm. Small, walkable, and close to a dozen brunch spots if you want to turn it into a whole morning.
